The History and Benefits of Deity Practice with Mantra Recitation (Talk about Vajrayana)
As usual, we will start with a short meditation, then we will go through the big benefits of Deity practice, we will go a bit overall and also how it can be done or benefits of Deity practice with mantra recitation. Yes, a bit of history, otherwise thing won’t make that much sense.
It’s really happy to see all of you, let’s start with the meditation, then we will go and also today if there is any question, even in between, even at the beginning, because at the end to have time for question and answer seems to be little difficult. Because one hour literally flies, so then we always are without any time, to keep a time at the end is little difficult.
And of course, we always have some topic which is a bit broad most of the time which could be one of the reasons. So even if it is not broad, maybe I’m trying to make a long story out of nothing, perhaps. It always end up til the last minute or few minutes late anyways if there is any question.
So yes, analytical meditation, you can do some analysis, if there is any question then you can go on at the beginning, and also when I talk about the history or the benefits of Deity practice with recitation, if there is anything that comes in your mind. There are lots of background things to understand this easily, I’ll try to go in such a way that it is quite easy to understand but still, to understand it thoroughly there are lots of small things that you have to understand, and it depends on a person. So yes, if there is any question in between, I would really be happy and don’t ever think that you are disturbing what I’m talking because there’s a point by telling, for example, when we go to the doctor and we explain “OK, what is that? What is this? I have this issue, that issue” so there is no disturbing a doctor. Similarly I am happy to know where you are so that can be known only with the questions. Yes, a bit of meditation at the beginning, it can be compassion or an analytical meditation. So three, two and….
[short meditation]
Before any sort of practices, I really am happy that we are taking at least few steps towards meditation, towards practices. In the world, specially in the same world where many people are suffering, not because of some natural disasters but because of some other people, whether it is a greed for wealth, whether it’s an ego or pride, whether it’s a desire of attachment or desire of attachment towards some position.
In many sutras, all ordinary beings are addressed as in Tibetan we call chi pa [བྱིས་པ] (child, children, chidhist beings), all ordinary beings are addressed as children. Now the reason why all ordinary beings are addressed as children is because ordinary beings are not able to realize or are not able to see far, ordinary beings just are very short-sighted, what you call? ‘can’t see far’. For example our children just think about today or tomorrow “Oh I just need some candies to eat, a very nice time to play”, so that why the parent has to say that “You have to study for the future, you have to study this, you have to study that, you have to do this and that”. The reason is that kids are not able to think that far, temporary, an instant, exactly the same way ordinary beings just think about today, tomorrow, this year or the most this life.
So everything that is happening right now on this planet, of course, including the war that is happening. It tries to achieve something for this life, this life that may end tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Whoever is trying to achieve something, we really don’t know how long he or she has and they’re projecting or expecting to achieve something in this life that is very much unpredictable when it’s going to end, at the same time what’s the point of achieving something? At the end of the day you both are in loss. This is the situation, this is the reason why ordinary beings are addressed as children or chi pa, chi pa [བྱིས་པ] is more like a young boy or a young girl, we call chi pa [བྱིས་པ].
This life maybe 50 years more, maybe 60 years more, maximum 60 or let’s say hundred to be very generous, but the time that we have to spend after this life is countless, so what’s the point of ruining all those years after this life. For the sake of this life which we really don’t know, it could be like 5 or 10 years.
We all know some people who passed away, who used to be like us around our age. We all have someone who already passed away, who used to be quite fit and fine exactly like us, who used to be around our age, who we met, we talked, they used to be around.
For example, Russia right now what they’re doing. So it’s exactly like an anger, you think that you are having this, you try to harm somebody out of anger, other person might be hurted by what you do but at the same time you are also hurted, it also harms you, it takes away your peace of mind, exactly the same situation is happening over there in Russia. Are the Russians happy? No. The people, the citizen who live in Russia, they pay all these taxes all these years and they know that tax has been used, is being used and still using to harm somebody else. At the same time, now they are the one who is in trouble, many people they’re suffering over there in Russia as well.
As I always say, the enemy is not out there, the enemy is within us, the poison that we are all holding within us, anger, attachment, greed, ego, pride, so these are the poisons and then the worse poisons. If a snake bites you and poisons you, it just takes away the life, this life. But the poison that we are holding within us, that is within us, it not only ruines this life, but it also ruins lots of future lives. The poison that is within us is so very destructive that it not only kill us but it also harms many others. For example, the poison that the Putin is holding in his heart, his mind is literally destroying millions of people out there.
From one angle, I’m very thankful to all the previous lives of myself who have practiced and all the teachers who guided me to practice in this manner, because of all those poison that is within me is not as strong or terrible. If there is any positives which is within us is because of hard work or the merits that we have accumulated in the past. So we should be thankful to that person or that being and also thankful to all the teachers who has been guiding in life and life.
Here again, really happy that we are having or trying to take steps to reduce that poison, very happy that we start the class with a bit of meditation to tickle or to reduce that poison which is within us, it is very important and to keep continuing practice. Practicing is very important because we all have it, it’s not yet thought completely out of us, so the more we practice the more we will be able to subdue those negativities within us, and slowly, gradually we may be able to get rid of it completely.
To get rid of that, Buddha has shawn lots of different parts or ways, among those, one of the ways to get rid of negativity within us, the way to get rid of negative poison which is within us. In general, I would say Buddha gave the teachings of Mahayana and Theravada you can say.
So those people who just focus on themselves, who just want to free, who don’t have that big courage and confidence that they will be able to do for the whole others. Buddha gave the teaching of Theravada where the practitioners want to get rid of all this suffering and undesirable world or who wish to end the suffering for themselves.
And for those who not only wish to get rid of the suffering, but also want to help all the others to get rid of the suffering, Buddha gave the teaching of Mahayana, so it’s more like if you want to understand with an example. If there is a flood in a village, there would be a lot of people who will try to run, swim, do their best to get on the highest pillar or the highest tree or if there is a mountain. When there was a flood at Ladakh in around 2010, the whole village there was no sea around, but it was like a cloud brush, there was a high mountain, the cloud came quite low and it was really big, and then the mountain tears the cloud and the cloud literally falls down and then it is much more than a storm, it washes away many villages. So at that time they hear a huge sound and the mountains are always nearby, there’s not much of land as in the South or other part of India, so people usually run to the mountains and to the temples which is based usually on the mountains.
There are many types of people, some people they run by themselves, when they reach at the temple or the mountain, it is just themselves. But there are some people who carry some kids, it doesn’t matter whether it’s your kids or somebody’s kids, but there were some people who carry some small animals, there were some people who literally opened up the door of the houses where they keep their cattles, there are some people who go and open the doors so that the cattles can also survive in some ways. So based on the different mental disposition only, it’s a different kind of people, Buddha gave different kind of teachings.
The Theravada teaching is for those who want to get rid of suffering and is mostly those people who wish to get to the mountain by themselves, of course it is a right, many people might think it is a sort of a negative or a selfish. No, it is absolutely positive because everyone has a right to achieve one’s happiness is one’s responsibility.
And then Mahanyana are those who are opening the door of cattle, house or is the one who carry others or help others. Because the flood usually comes at night I don’t know the reason, but then it seems to be, so when the flood comes at night, there are a lot of people, of course they want to live, they don’t want it takes away by the flood, it is terrible. Trust me there are big rocks that comes along with this flood because it’s all rocky, it comes from a mountain so obviously it comes with a huge rocks. So at night one of my teachers along with some other monks were invited at one house for a dinner, then suddenly they heard that everybody was shouting outside like “Run, run, that is a flood coming again”. They found that some people – now is the night, and the sound is really high that we can hear from everywhere – are shouting from all the different directions. So some people run in the alright direction and direction where it is safe. But some people, although they want to get rid of the suffering, although they don’t want to mess with the water or flood, with ignorance, they are running towards the place from where the flood comes.
Of course everybody wan to get rid of suffering, everybody wants some happiness, but all this destruction is happening in this world. They also want happiness, they also want to achieve things, but they’re running to towards a place where the flood comes, from where the flood is coming. So they are led by their own ignorance, they’re controlled by their own negative emotions, destructive poisons within them.
There are some Masters in the past who, in some of their book, says that “Even if I’m not able to practice much, I’m very much satisfied that I met with such a wonderful teaching. In this life I met with the teachings of Buddha in this life. At least I have something that always guides me towards positive, although I’m not being so nice Buddhist or so very good practitioner, I’m so content and happy that I am always guided by the teachings of Buddha and my Masters who always show the path of peace and non-violence.”
So that is pretty much the Mahayana and Hinayana or Theravada, or generally Hinayana is how they are known, they’re both Buddhist, obviously. So the Mahayana, now if we talk about the different divisions or the parts of Mahayana, you all might know Zen Buddhism, that is also a part of Mahayana, Tibetan Buddhism, a part of Mahayana, then there is a Chinese Buddhism also similar to the Zen. So from a bit different Masters, the linages come and there are slight different because of the tradition, the culture and there’s different regions but the essence are the same, they all are practicing so that they become Buddha and to help all the sentient beings, to help all others, I’m talking about Mahayana, Generally Mahayana.
One of the main division in Mahayana that you get to see in Tibetan and in Himalayan regions and Mongolia or Nepal, Bhutan is the Vajrayana. So Vajrayana basically is a part of Mahayana, Vajrayana Buddhism, Buddha gave this teaching to very selected students who were suitable to uphold this teaching and to practice this teaching. In the Vajrayana, sometimes Buddha himself manifests, for example, Buddha became Buddha at the age of 35, so the next year, right after 11 months from the time he got enlightened. He got enlightened on the full moon of fourth month, so the next year, the full moon of third month he was giving a teaching of Heart Sutra, I think we’ve been through Heart Sutra last year, and I might have mentioned this story before. So at exactly the same time he also manifests as a Kalachakra, it’s the name of a Deity, Kalachakra, and then he was giving the teachings of Kalachakra to selected student.
So that is perhaps one of the first Vajrayana teaching that Buddha has given. The reason why I’m mentioning this is because many people may wonder “Oh what is this Vajrayana or whether it’s the teachings of Buddha or not?”, there used to be a lot of confusions in the past. The difference between the General Mahayana and the Vajrayana is that – To become a principal, the principal of a certain school, one way you can become a principal is by learning step by step: OK, you go to the school, you go to the college and then you enhance your knowledge and then slowly you take an interview and then you become principal or maybe you become a teacher first and then slowly you become a principal. So there is one of the ways to become a principal, or another way could be that there is a school and there is a principal, and then you become assistant of the principal, then you learn the principal work, you learn the principal work by staying with the principal, by thinking or looking at the principal all the time, all your life, you understand his work and then you become a principal.
The first one is General Mahayana, the way you practice is you practice the causes and then you try to achieve the result. Vajrayana is more like you practice or visualize the result itself and try to achieve the result. So you try to achieve a Buddhahood, and then you practice and you visualize yourself as that Buddha to try to achieve that Buddhahood. And that is one of the very quickest.
In Mahayana, it may take three great eons to become a Buddha, many lifetime Buddha Sakya Muni himself, he has taken 500 low rebirths in the lower realms and he took like many thousands of lives as a Bodhisattva to achieve Buddhahood. But the very short and quick way to achieve Buddhahood is by practicing Vajrayana and according to the sutra, it says that through the Vajrayana practices you can achieve Buddhahood in one lifetime.
So the mantra recitation is generally when you do some meditation retreats or when you are visualizing a Buddha, when you’re practicing Vajrayana, then the main practice is to visualize the Deity and to continue the meditation and practices or maybe in simple words you do the Sādhanā, visualization and these. So between the sections, you have a break, let’s say, in one day if you are practicing with the 3-4 sections, there are breaks between a section.
In one of the sutra, the recitation of mantra is actually something that is been recommended, they were supposed to do during these breaks so that you don’t get distracted by something else, suppose you are meditating on Kalachakra. You’re practicing Kalachakra and during the section you have the break where you may be cooking, or where you may be eating or where you may be doing some other things. So during that part to keep your mind towards Kalachakra, to keep your mind towards the visualization, you say this mantra, so saying mantra is one of the method to keep your mind to that object of your meditation.
This is the reason why they say mantra and of course mantra recitation has lots of other benefits as well. So majority of these mantras are just saying the name of that specific Buddha or a Deity. For example, OM MANI PADMA HUM, I think I might have mentioned before. OM means like body, speech and mind, so body, speech and mind that I have which is not pure, I want to transform it and convert it into the body, speech and mind of Buddha, maybe Kwan Yin Buddha or Buddha Avalokistesvaha, it’s one of the Buddha, Buddha of Compassion let’s say. I want to transform my unpure body speech and mind into the body, speech and mind of Kwan Yin or Buddha of Compassion. By how? By wisdom and method which is why we say MANI and PADMA, MANI is jewel, PADMA is lotus flower, basically it means by wisdom and method. So HUM it’s more of a prayer may it happen, may I be able to transform my impure body, speech, and mind into the pure body, speech, and mind by the help of wisdom and method. So that is what basically OM MANI PADMA HUM and then here again, the reason why I say MANI PADMA is because Buddha of Compassion is holding MANI PADMA, the one who holds MANI PADMA is basically a name of Buddha of Compassion, in a way we’re just saying the name which is remembering that Buddha.
The benefit is when you think of Buddha of Compassion, it helps you to maintain compassion, it helps you to be positive, it helps you to avoid negative thoughts. This is the reason why we call ‘mantra’ and the literal meaning of mantra is protecting the mind. Mantra is the one which protects the mind, the one which protects the mind from thinking negative, it’s the one which protects the mind from suffering, the one which protects the mind from illusion or maybe greed, desire and all these.
So this is very good to do between the meditation section because during between this meditation section if you want to keep yourself positive, if you want to keep yourself towards your practice, if you don’t want to get distracted by negative emotion, then yes, of course this is the reason why the mantra recitations are based, generally done. Nowadays, in these regions where people practice Vajrayana, they do lots of mantra recitation. With the mantra recitation, they visualize certain Buddhas, they visualize certain Deities and do the mantra recitation
And generally when the person does the mantra recitation, it can be of some protectors as well, it can be of some Yidams, some Buddhas in a wrathful form or maybe a peaceful form. Or maybe some people do some mantras of some protectors, those protectors may not be Buddha, but they’re just seeking some protection.
If you say some mantras of some Buddhas or Yidams, they are very powerful, it definitely helps you to be positive, it definitely helps to fix the elements within us to be more positive. It very much effective because it’s exactly like during the full moon, as I’ve mentioned once earlier, during the full moon day, it’s very easy to get angry, to get jealous, to get emotion etc… because our mind very much depends on the physical body. If your physical body is very fit, thus your mind is healthy, if your physical body has some issues, your mind is not really nice and healthy generally.
By saying certain mantras, for example, I usually say “By saying the mantra of Medicine Buddha, I believe it is not just that Medicine Buddha is blessing you or doing something, when we say certain mantra, it holds certain energies, the mantra itself holds certain energies that can help us to activate those energies which heal us from different sickness, different issues”.
If the Protectors aren’t Buddhas, then what are they?
So when I’ve mentioned protectors, yes, some of the protectors are Buddha, for example, Buddha of Wisdom, in the Yidam form it is Yamantaka, in the protector form it is, I don’t know how is it in English? In Tibetan we call it Jampel Yang [འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས་]. And then also the Kwan Yin, in the form of Yidam it is Hayagriva, in the form of Protector, it is Gönpo, mean six–hand Gönpo, 4–hand Gönpo and then different forms of Gönpo. So there are lot of Protectors, again which are not Buddha, maybe there are some Protectors who are of some Bodhisattva forms, there are some Protectors who used to be some ordinary maybe. When Guru Padmasambhava came to Tibet, there were many demons and this and that at the Tibet which were fetched and praised by Tibetans.
Before they were Buddhists they used to follow Bon tradition, the earlier tradition and culture so they used to kill some animals and offer to those Protectors, those Gods, let’s say those Deities or Land Protectors or whatever. So then later on when Guru Padmasambhava came to Tibet, he let them promise to protect the teachings of Buddha and those who are following the teachings of Buddha, Guru Padmasambhava let them promise, so of course they are not Buddha or of course they are not enlightened beings or some Bodhisattva. But yeah, they’re just ordinary, you can think of one species of sentient beings, according to the different karmas they are born a bit differently and they have lot of capabilities, they are quite powerful in lot of senses. So they can do a lot of things in their own realms, so many temples, monks, villages, houses, they rely on some specific Protectors that they offer in regular, of course it is not like they used to offer in the past – they kill some animals, more small animals and offer like a blood sacrifice or life sacrifice, this and that, they don’t do it anymore as they used to do it long back.
But right now the tradition, in many Tibetan places you might have seen or heard that even during the Tibetan New Year, they make a lot of things by the bread and then offer to the Buddha’s, so many of the things that they make are the signs, the shape is more like a heart, the eye, the ear, the nose, they make different things out of the dot and then they offer it to the Buddhas. I mean traditionally they used to offer like a real flesh and all these things, but after Buddhism came to Tibet they changed, they know they don’t do any more violence based offerings, so they make out of bread and offer this to the Protectors and this and that.
So this is as I said they are the tradition and culture little bit of mix in some forms, but the essence is the same in all the Mahayana Buddhism. The Buddhist essence are same in all the Mahayana tradition.
So they are in the form of an energy being?
Yes, and they have their forms, now these Protectors have their forms but it is not visible to our eyes. We are able to see, we have been through that class, we are able to see from the eyes because of our eye power, so the our eye power is not capable to see lot of things based on the human karma. Based on the throwing karma because of which we took this human rebirth human body, we have certain eye power, so our eye power has a limit and what we can see is very limited, it’s not like we can see a lot of things. There are lots more beings and things that we can’t see while it exists. In the same world that we exist, there are many different worlds, there are many different species, there are many different beings that we can’t see. Yet they exist, so these Protectors are the body for us it is a subtle because it is not visible to us. But, of course, through some meditations, if we enhance the eye power then yes, we will be able to see lot of those beings. So it’s like the cockroach cannot see human because of their karma and their eye power.
I might have mentioned this earlier, there are many human as well who are hidden, so there are many human on this earth as well that we cannot see from our eyes. Well, this sounds quite strange. Yeah, there are many human on this earth as well that we can’t see, these humans are hidden by some great Masters in the past to protect them from certain enemy, to save them.
There is species, the one that Master has hidden are the ancestors, so now their children and children and children and their village are still non visible to human, they exist. The village that I was born not far from that village, there are some mountains where the whole village known that around some of those mountains. There are some villages of these hidden people, we call bä lung pa [སྦས་ལུང་པ།], bä [སྦས།] is more like hidden, lung [ལུང།] is like a place, so the hidden place, the people of hidden place, that’s what they call, that’s what we see over there.
The oracle of Nechung can be considered a Dharma Protector?
Yes, many of these Protectors, we can’t see those Protectors so that’s why we rely on a medium to hear the Protector, so we invite certain Protectors inside a human body, so that we can communicate with them. You might have seen His Holiness, many different occasions when His Holiness wishes to consult something or discuss something with some certain Protectors. With some rituals, the person is very ordinary, they invite in the body of certain person so that we can have the communication.
Some of these Deities and Protectors are very powerful, some of these Deities and Protectors, as I said, is not really powerful, not dead powerful, for example Nechung or Palden Lhamo. For example, Palden Lhamo, let’s say, Palden Lhamo basically is a very high realized being. It’s hard to say that it comes in a human form, but then some assistants, or some of other Protectors who visualized and practice Palden Lhamo may enter into human body and thus we consult, we talk, we discuss, some of the matters discussed and then if some people have some things to ask, they ask. So that happens.
Protectors, although we know, and Deities although we may not see, they live in their own world and they can see us, so that’s why some of these mantra recitation to some Projectors are just to protect us or just to assist us in some ways or help us to do things, dynamics related things, and in the monasteries, we often say the Protectors prayer, so the things go smoothly, but at the end of the day it is not just Protector that we have to think and rely on because the human effort is important, with that we’re doing things. There are some children or people here who don’t work hard and study for their exams and at the end they go to some monasteries and offer something to pray to the Protectors and then hope that they’ll pass the exam. So this is really a bit unfair because if you don’t plant the seed you just put the water on there, and it’s not possible to grow, nothing will comes out because nothing will go because there’s no seed in there, so these Protectors can’t help you if you do nothing. And if you go to a Minister, let’s say, you ask that “Oh, I need this, I need that, my village need that, so my city need that”, if you do nothing, just tell him then it’s really hard and difficult that things will come to exist.
You also have to put some effort along with that, so Protectors are something like that and but the practice of Buddhas are to achieve Buddhahood, Projectors practice of some Buddhas in a wrathful form may a very different, Vajrayana practices very advanced and different, that is a different thing.
When I’m talking about these Protectors, I’m just generally talking about the Protectors. Yeah, it’s a very unusual topic for me to talk in general, but I’m happy because there are some aspects that can be really helpful, because many of the things that you see when you think and talk about Tibetan Buddhism, you have seen Mandala, right? So those are very much related to Vajrayana practices, those are related to the practices related to the Deities and Yidams, we see those. So these are some of the basic things that we have to understand and then you get to see a lot of rituals that has been done and those are always related to Vajrayana practices.
Many people think of like magical things, supernatural doing, achievements in Himalayan region, for example Ladakh, it’s not like everybody has a lot of knowledge or understanding about Vajrayana, of course, monks have, but general people don’t have much of understanding, but they have a very strong belief, they have a very strong faith and devotion towards this practice because in one of the other ways, everyone has heard some stories about some magical things that could be, that could have or that has been performed by some Masters in the past, even in China, this is how Buddhism is very much alive.
But now we cannot be satisfied with what others has achieved. Somebody might have, somebody might win this and that somewhere, it doesn’t mean that’s not enough to feed you, so this why one individual practices is important. Even if you can’t go with some advanced Vajrayana practices, at least we can do some meditation, recitation, prayers, so that is very much important. And then general understanding of Buddhism, General Mahayana or Theravada understanding is very important because that act as a basis, so that some of the advanced practices can be built on that nicely.
Isn’t Palden Lhamo a manifestation of Tara as a Protector?
Yes, Palden Lhamo is believed to be the manifestation of Tara as a projector, right? So Palden Lhamo is one of the most known Protector, is a Protector of almost all the Tibetan monasteries you can say. And Tara, during the Nalanda University, Tara is considered as a sort of a Protector as well. In ancient Mahayana Monasteries, you’re gonna find Tara as a Protector, Vajrapani as a Protector, Manjushri as a Protector, or Kwan Yin as a Protector.
But yes, it is, if you are strictly towards Vajrayana Buddhism, it would be easier, or maybe, I’m not sure about Tibetan villages, but in Ladakh each in every house has house Protector. Individual has individual Protector, for example, monastery has monastery protector, individual monk, many of the monks have, for example, I have an individual Protector, my monastery has a Protector, my parents’ house has a Protector. So relying on Protector is kind of common, but if the Protector is some sort of Buddha, then you can take refuge, if the Protector is not a Buddha, then taking a refuge is something that you shouldn’t do. As a Buddhist, you cannot go to refuge who is not Buddha, who is not Dharma, who is not Sangha. But still you can rely on them as you are relying on some Ministers to get rid of some issues.
Alright, so we’ll conclude here today, I really am happy. So thank you very much Chessy for always being there organizing the classes. One of the previous time, when I was not able to being in the class, you all have done some mantras, I truly appreciate and I’m very thankful and I was truly very moved and at the same time, very sorry for not being able to be in the class.
Yes, and as always, very happy to see all of you again and looking forward to see you again.
So from next time it depends, if I have a monastic class at this time, then obviously I won’t be able to have this class on this time, if I don’t have a monastery class at this time, then I would really love to have it this time, because this is also a very quiet time, I really am happy and I like this time. I will have to confirm and check and I will let Chessy know if the monastic class take place at the same time. And then we’ll think if we have to take it back a bit, so those who are in Asia may not have an issue or a problem if we have this class a bit earlier, but those who are in the West or America, it can be a bit early. I’m not sure how much I leave, but let’s see how things goes, maybe we can have the class an hour before, we might have to have a class an hour before, let’s see. I’ll discuss with Chessy and Chessy will let all of you know and I’m really thankful. And also from next time, I’ll discuss with Chessy if any of you have any recommendation you can come up with, I’m thinking to go through a book. It can be anything, maybe some mind training book or something, I don’t know, we’ll discuss about.
I’m totally if you have a specific topic you know, if you have any topic that you wish to go through, you can just raise or you can just say at the beginning of the class, I’m also OK, or otherwise, we’ll go through a certain book. Alright, so that’s an open, you all can think and let Chessy know or let me know, then we’ll discuss if there are two different opinions, then we’ll go one by one.
How about the certificates?
Yes, the certificates are ready with me right now, I was supposed to send it from Ladakh, actually I left at the post office, I know someone in the post office and I asked her to send and I created sort of a group at the WhatsApp and then I had certain address and I shared some address, some address I don’t have. I’m thinking to send the paper, of course, the PDF I can send email, but I’m thinking to send the paper, a certificate, to all those who have joined for the Lorig class. I have the address of some of you and I don’t have the address of some of you, so those who haven’t shared your address you can share and then now I have time I can send as soon as I’m able to, as soon as I receive the address, even if I have your address, you just sent me because I’m not sure if I have your address.
I think I have like 6-7 address not more than that, so those you have joined Lorig class, you send me the address, I will send you as soon as possible, I will be happy to do to. So I will be at Sera from maybe one and a half more month then I might have to go to Ladakh for a little bit of time to conclude that Prayer Wheel Project.
Alright, so thank you very much. Please keep praying for Ukraine and also for the people in Russia because both are suffering.
Keep practices and then ‘The 8 Verses of Mind Training’ please if it is possible, it would be wonderful to read it again and again. You can have it as in daily prayer as I’ve mentioned before, so with I would like to conclude today’s class. Thank you very much to all of you.
